Team Modern customers realized tremendous savings during the 2016 Trade Show held in Somerset, Kentucky this past week. Winning Strategies, Winning Team was the theme for the 2016 Team Modern Trade Show and customers were the big winners with great deals, great prizes, educational seminars and cash giveaways. “Our goal is to always create a great buying and savings experience for our customers during the trade show and this year customers were certainly big winners”, according to Jerry Ray, President of Team Modern Distributors. Team Modern had 108 vendors representing all categories within the convenience store channel on hand to introduce new products, provide shipper deals for the entire year and offer turn-item deals to help with customer inventory throughout the year. “Our goal is to always try and be a critical resource for both our customers and vendors so everyone benefits from the trade show relationship”, Ray said.
The day was filled with door prizes given away hourly by vendors who participated in the trade show. Also, hourly someone was selected to get in the Team Modern Money Booth to “catch cash” for :30 and walk away with some extra money in their pockets. Random drawing cash prizes given away during the course of the day included a $250 Team Modern Visa Card, $500 to Busy Bee, $1,000 Junction Station, and $1,500 Music Valley Market. The final grand prize winner was Rob Woodson from Woodson Shell and they won a trip for 2 on the next Team Modern trip that customers will be eligible for this year through points gained to participate in the trip. The trade show also offered educational seminars on the trade show floor with information on marketing products in your stores, ordering devices from Team Modern, new credit card legislation that affects ATMS, and a presentation about maximizing rebate programs to add profit dollars to your organization bottom-line.
